Injunction to be heard tomorrow to extend PC leadership vote deadline
A Toronto lawyer has filed an injunction to extend the deadline to vote in the Ontario Progressive Conservative party leadership.
The application will be argued Friday morning in court, says John Nunziata.
Nunziata said he was not representing any one candidate in particular, saying instead he was acting on behalf of "people in the party."
"There's hundreds if not thousands of party members who want to vote but can't vote because the system is broken. The technology has not played out the way it ought to," Nunziata told CBC Toronto Thursday evening.
